Symptoms like light colic or drowsiness can appear during the first few weeks of using a new product. Within two to three weeks these symptoms should disappear. You should let horses that suffer from intestinal symptoms get used to Equilin products during a period of 7 to 10 days. After a period of habituation you can start with the build-up dosage.
There is a very slim chance of an allergic reaction to nettle; the so called nettle rash occurs in approximately 1 in 10.000 horses. Nettle rash manifests itself in small bumps beneath the skin. Normally the bumps disappear within 24 hours. Nettle is an ingredient that is added to IMMUNO. In case nettle rash appears, you should stop feeding IMMUNO and you can instead start feeding BASIC.
